Busch Gardens

People have evolved and Busch Gardens needs to do so as well.  There have been many complaints made to Big Cat Rescue about the noise, harassment by the public and small confines for the tigers, lions and cheetahs that have been on display at Busch Gardens but there was never a page on this site about them until now.  Because now, Busch Gardens has the technology possible to transform themselves from a prison for wildcats to an entertaining, location based experience that will disrupt the zoo industry.  Find out more about that at BigCatRescue.org/earth. Tiger Habitat at Busch Gardens

Hello, I am writing to Big Cat Rescue and other organizations to see if your org or anyone else is doing anything to get the White tiger out of Busch Gardens….my first visit there yesterday; I found it appalling.   I found most of the animal or bird habitats at Busch Gardens to be okay, some very nice; but the tiger enclosure, while attractive, is way too small!  The tiger paced the whole time I watched him; the outside area is probably less than 1/8th of an acre, with only two trees– cabbage palms no less, I saw, no large oak tree or anything for shade. I’ve seen some rescue orgs that have larger and nicer habitats than this multi million dollar venue offers.  I guess it’s all about the  money…  Has there ever been an attempt to have this tiger habitat removed from this place?
